Routine, low-risk RFCs can be quickly assessed and approved.
There are several types of changes in change management, so you need a change management tool that adapts to the various types of changes in ITIL: standard changes, minor changes, emergency changes and major changes.
For standard and minor changes, once an RFC has been created, the Change Manager receives an automated notification and reviews all newly-submitted RFCs. If the RFC is a simple, routine and low-risk RFC, then the Change Manager can approve the request immediately by changing the status to "APPROVED" or to "SCHEDULED" or they can click on "Quick Approve" on the homepage dashboard.
